John “Jack” Bienko is the Deputy Director for Entrepreneurship Education at the U.S. Small Business Administration Headquarters (SBA). SBA facilities billions of dollars in financing and contracts each year while overseeing a broad entrepreneurial support system and assisting communities recover from disasters. Mr. Bienko’s team develops national educational opportunities for entrepreneurs through direct programming, contracts, grants and innovative partnerships. These services include SCORE’s network of 11,000 business mentors, digital solutions like the award-winning SBA Learning Center, the acclaimed SBA Emerging Leaders executive series, the Agency’s wide reaching Encore Entrepreneurship campaign and cutting-edge public/private partnerships with global brands. He has contributed to White House special initiatives for three Presidential administrations and previously served as SBA’s Deputy Associate Administrator for Strategic Alliances where he developed many of the agency’s highest profile partnerships including the Agency’s 50th Anniversary. Mr. Bienko has been recognized for his determined advocacy of economic opportunity from neighborhood block clubs to foreign embassies. He is active in civic and community organizations, including those that promote startups, public service, and charitable interests. Mr. Bienko entered Federal service as a Presidential Management Fellow after receiving an MS in Architecture & Planning from the University of Buffalo.
